Prague — The Senators of the Czech Republic have hosted a reception honoring visiting Tibetan President Dr Lobsang Sangay this week at Czech Republic Senate house, on October 15, 2019, and reaffirmed their support for Tibet and solidarity with Tibetan people.

New Delhi — The Core Group for Tibetan Cause– India, known as the Apex body of all the Indian Tibet Support Groups in India Thursday strongly urged Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to take up the issue of Tibet with Chinese President Xi Jinping during the informal summit at Mamallapuram near Chennai on 11 and 12 October this year.

Washingon, DC — While expressing gratitude to U.S lawmakers for the recent introduction of the new comprehensive bill “Tibet Policy and Support Act of 2019” in the U.S. Congress, the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF), strongly urges US lawmakers to swiftly pass it. USCIRF also welcomes recent measures to protect religious freedom in China.

Dharamshala, India — The ‘3rd Special General Meeting’ of Tibetans has unanimously passed four historic resolutions, declaring "the six million Tibetan’s earnest prayers for His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama to reincarnate as per the Tibetan Buddhist tradition and rejecting outrightly China’s preposterous interference in the sacred institution of Tibetan reincarnation."

Paris — Twenty United Nations member countries recently signed the International Partnership on Information and Democracy agreement at the United Nations General Assembly to "promote online access to news and information that is freely and independently reported, diverse and reliable."
