Washington D.C — In his indestructible effort to drum up support among members of the U.S. Congress for a new "Tibet Policy Act", President of the Tibetan government in-Exile met with several US lawmakers and officials, while lobbying the federal government of the United States to keep pressure on China to peacefully resolve the issue of the occupied Tibet.

Dharamshala, India — Outraged by continuing human rights violations in Tibet and the atrocities committed against Tibetan people since China's invasion of Tibet, acting President of the Tibetan government in-Exile urges the Tibetans around the world to remain observant and to commit to playing a constructive role in the democratic process.

Dharamshala, India — Remembered his support and sympathy for the people of Tibet, the leaders of Tibet, including His Holiness the Dalai Lama, President of the Tibetan government in-Exile and Speaker of the Tibetan Parliament in-Exile have sent their condolences over the demise of Arun Jaitley, the former finance and defence Minister of India. He was 66.

Dharamshala, India — “For the Tibetans inside Tibet, your presence reassures and reaffirms their belief in the just cause of Tibet by sending them hope and inspiration”, the President of the Tibetan-government-in-exile, Dr Lobsang Sangay said during a welcome reception in honor the visit of a US delegation— Members of the House Democracy Partnership, a bipartisan commission of the US House of Representatives, who assured their support to the cause of Tibet.
