Dharamshala:  — A Chinese court on Friday sentenced three Tibetans to jail terms of up to 15 years for their alleged involvement in the massive wave of self-immolation protests against Chinese oppression. In the latest crackdown, Chinese authorities believe that this way is the only way to stop the  self-immolation protests that has touched at-least 107 incidents in Tibet.

Dharamshala: – February 25th 2013, emerging reports from Tibet say one more Tibetan burned himself to death in Ngaba county of Amdho region, eastern Tibet to protests against China's hardline and repressive policies on Tibet.

Dharamsala: February 25th 2013, Reports have emerged from eastern Tibetan that a young man named Tsezung Kyab self immolated within the grounds of a monastery at approximately 1.30 pm locally.

Dharamshala: - Amid a wave of self-immolations which have fanned across Eastern Tibet, February 24th witnessed the 105th reported case of a Tibetan burning themselves in protest. News has emerged of a young monk named Phakmo Dhondhup to have self-immolated in Amdho province of Eastern Tibet, at around 8pm.

Dharamshala: - Stepping up its severely crackdown against Tibetan protests in Tibet, a student of of the Tibetan traditional Thangka art has been sentenced to two years in prison in Lhasa, the capital of Tibet for allegedly having Tibet related photos on his mobile phone.

Dharamshala: - On February 11, Chinese authorities have detained six Tibetans in Kham region, eastern Tibet for their alleged involvement in the leaflet campaign for Tibet's independence and leading a protest against Chinese rule.
