Dharamshala: Two famous Tibetan writers are currently receiving hospital treatment in Chengdu, near Eastern Tibetan, following injuries sustained during interrogation and torture by Chinese police, according to a source from inside Tibet, who wishes to remain anonymous.

Dharamshala: Radio Free Asia reported yesterday that Tibetan residents in the region affected by the Kyigudo quake are currently resisting Chinese authorities' attempts to repossess their property.

Dharamshala: Dokru Tsultrim, a Tibetan writer from Ngaba County, Eastern Tibet, was arrested by Chinese authorities on Monday 24th May for the second time in just over a year, according to a close family member. This follows the arrest of his friend Kalsang Tsultrim, a monk from the same monastery, last week.

Dharamshala: Lhasa Intermediate People's Court sentenced a Tibetan, Sonam Tsering, to death with two years reprieve and five other Tibetans to lengthy imprisonment terms between 3 to 7 years in prison for secretly hiding him from the law enforcement agencies.
