London — Tibetan Community in Britain will organise campaign to raise awareness about Tibet's water resources and handing out leaflets about Tibet Water Resources Limited, a Chinese company that recently signed a deal with Liverpool FC.

Dharamshala, India — President of Central Tibetan Administration Dr Lobsang Sangay on Monday congratulated Venkaiah Naidu on his election as the 13th Vice-President of India and expressed confidence that Naidu will act as an important determinant of India’s democratic functioning to address appropriate checks and balance.

Dharamshala — Democratically elected President of the Tibetan government in exile (CTA), Dr Lobsang Sangay made a statement discouraging self immolation protests, pleading for Tibetans in exile to pursue more powerful means of contributing to the Tibetan cause.

Dharamshala — A Tibetan man set himself on fire and died in Dharamshala on Saturday in the second self-immolation protest in India in two weeks, protesting against China's illegal occupation of Tibet and its repressive policies toward Tibetan people.

Dharamshala — His Holiness the Dalai Lama graced the inauguration of Dudjum Nunnery in Upper Shey on July 26, and as usual, all of the locals and hundreds of school children lined the road side to get a glimpse of him. He was welcomed by Urgyen Rinpoche as he stepped out of the car.
