Dharamshala: On the eve of the G20 summit, 5 Tibetan NGOs sent a strong message to G20 leaders to "Unite for Tibet", and tackle Xi Jinping about his Party's 60-year occupation of Tibet and appalling human rights abuses during the G20 summit in St Petersburg (5 and 6 September).

Dharamshala: - The 53rd anniversary of Tibetan Democracy Day celebrated by Tibetans living in exile across the world, the Tibetan parliament in-exile on Monday. August 3, said "His Holiness the Dalai Lama and the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) have strifed for genuine autonomy for all Tibetans as per the provisions contained in the PRC constitution and autonomy law, which clearly spell out the right to regional ethnic autonomy."

Dharamshala: - Tibetans around the world today (September 2) celebrated the 53rd Tibetan Democracy Day, which marks the anniversary of His Holiness the Dalai Lama's efforts to transform Tibetan society into a democracy- a system of governance known as the best among all other systems.

Dharamshala: - Two separate delegations from the Indo-Tibetan Friendship Association and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) visited the exile Tibetan community this week. They met with Tibetan officials, including information minister and had expressed their strong support for the Tibetan cause.

Dharamshala: - Himalaya Pariwar, a Tibet support group based in Dharamshala, Tuesday, August 27 organised a speech competition on Tibet at Dayanand Model Senior Secondary School in Dharamshala.

Dharamshala: - Tibetan community in exile strongly condemns the recent incident of alleged sexual aggression perpetrated on a minor Tibetan girl in Mundgod settlement by two fellow community members.
