Washington D.C — In a speech at the Ministerial to Advance Religious Freedom, Vice President Mike Pence described the state of religious freedom around the world and said that the Tibetan people have been brutally repressed by the Chinese government for nearly 70 years.

Washington, D.C. — The Reciprocal Access to Tibet Act took a big step forward when the House Judiciary Committee approved the bill unanimously. The next step is for the act to move to the floor of the House of Representatives.

Zanskar, J&K, India — Explaining that the Tibetans in Tibet are going through a very sad situation, His Holiness the Dalai Lama said "the totalitarian system in China means that many people in China are ignorant about the proper status of Tibet."

Dharamshala, HP, India — The Tibet Policy Institute a think-tank run by the Central Tibetan Administration has released a research paper contradicting China’s claim over progress made in Tibet ecology. The paper called Chinese White paper a ‘brazen lie’ and said “it would be wonderful reading to someone who knows very little about Tibet”.

Dharamshala, India — As a part of ‘Thank you campaign for Tibet supporters’ and 60th anniversary year of the His Holiness the Dalai Lama in exile. Ministers of Central Tibetan Administration are visiting different parts of the world to thank Tibet supporters and various group.

Moscow, Russia — A French activist was detained by Russian police after sharing pictures from the semi final match between France and Belgium at the Saint Petersburg Stadium where he raised the Tibetan national flag and a T-shirt with "Tibet" on Tuesday.
