Dharamshala, India — A young Tibetan woman, Tenzin Zomkey, has won the Miss Grand Belgium 2021 competition after competing against stunning beauties from across the country for the national crown. She will represent Belgium at the Miss Grand International 2021 competition in Phuket, Thailand.

The Miss Grand Belgium 2021 took place on September 18, 2021, with stunning beauties from all over the country competing for the national crown, and Tenzin Zomkey has crowned the new queen in the final of the event.

After the Miss Grand Belgium 2021 ceremony, she wrote on her Instagram page: "The crown on my head would not have been possible without your constant encouragement. I believe, I won more than the crown, I won your trust and faith in my vision.

“I have been competing in beauty competition since the age of 15, I have seen more failures than success but my heart was right and I believed in my dream. So last night was all about the hard work that the last 5 years asked of me. Today, if some can relate to my story, three cheers to you."

Zomkey hails from Mundgod Tibetan settlement, Uttara Kannada, Karnataka, India, moved to Flemish Brabant, Belgium in 2011. In 2016, she auditioned for season 14 of "Top Model Belgium" and in 2018, she was in Paris, France, as a finalist of season 14 of "Top Model Belgium".

She represented Belgium at Miss Asia Global 2019, competing against 23 other candidates at the Gokulam Convention Center in Kochi, India. She won the Miss Personality award and placed in the top 12.
