Three more Tibetans have set themselves on fire in the last four days, protesting against the Chinese government's wrong policies in Tibet. The prayer service was presided over by Dakri Tulku from Sera Jey monastery.
Lhamo Kyab, 27, set himself on fire in Bora village in Sangchu County, Kanlho, in north-eastern Tibet, around 2pm (local time) Saturday (20 October). Dhondup, 61, set himself on fire near Labrang Monastery on 22 October.
Dorjee Rinchen, a 57-year-old Tibetan man set himself on fire in front of the local police station in Sangchu county, north-eastern Tibet around 04:30 pm (local time)on 23 October.
Kalon Pema Chhinjor, the officiating Sikyong, delivered the statement of the Kashag.
Since 2009, 58 Tibetans in Tibet set themselves on fire calling for the return of His Holiness the Dalai Lama to Tibet and freedom for Tibetans.
