MADISON: Tibet's political and spiritual leader, His Holiness the Dalai Lama said Sunday in Madison, US that he is hopeful that science can make the world more peaceful by encouraging positive mental qualities such as empathy and compassion.

Dharmshala: Tibet's spiritual and political leader, His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama will be continuing his US tour with a talk at the Overture Centre's Capitol Theatre in Madison this Sunday 16th May.

Dharamshala: A British Humanitarian, Lord Christopher Macklin, met the Tibetan prime-minister (Kalon Tripa) Prof. Samdhong Rinpoche on Wednesday 12 May, for his first meeting to discuss the engagement of many of the Tibetan Humanitarian Projects -- such as education, media and health -- which are currently planned and underway in Dharamshala where the Tibetan government in-exile is based.

Dharamshala: Following Wednesday's teachings on faith at the Indiana University Campus, His Holiness has continued his US tour with a visit to the Tibetan Mongolian Buddhist Cultural Centre, Indiana.

Dharamshala: His Holiness started his U.S tour with a speech at the Bloomington centre in Indiana yesterday. The Dalai Lama spoke on the Heart Sutra is considered by some the best known and most popular of all Buddhist scriptures.

Moscow: Russia is ready to help settle the conflict between China and the Tibetan spiritual leader 'His Holiness the' Dalai Lama, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Thursday.
